Apalachee Bluff Airpark – We have a client who purchased a parcel in the rural area outside of Monroe, Georgia. We assisted him thru out the entire project from the beginning, starting with the rezoning of the property at the municipal level. We provided a number of land plans for the airpark project. We performed a boundary, topographic and tree survey of the airpark for design purposes and to assess the final site design. We consulted many airpark communities and aviation industry professionals during this project.
Survey has been a 4 year project and is still ongoing.
Georgia DOT Project – This was a municipal project for the Georgia DOT. The DOT owned the existing building and wanted to have it demolished to construct a parking deck. We worked closely with the architect and civil engineer, Shields Engineering, to provide a boundary, topographic and tree survey of a parcel near the Georgia Capital. This survey was highly detailed and included locating underground data, part of the I-85 Bridge and a pedestrian bridge that accessed the site. We also continued serving the construction company who provided demolition services, providing needed field expertise on the project from beginning of the demolition to the end. Survey was completed February, 19, 2009.
AirTran Hangar Project – AirTran was purchasing some land from Delta to build a new hangar at Hartsfield Jackson Airport. The firm I worked for was providing Surveying, Logistics, and Civil/Site Engineering for the project. I worked closely with the engineering Department to produce an existing conditions survey with a high level of detail.
